Happy Holidays (And Update Time!)

Heyyyyy loves! Firstly, I just want to say thank you all so much for your patience, love & support throughout this past year! 2012 was an amazing year for Team Lexis & 2013 is going to be an even more amazing year ... I already know it!

But before we move onto 2013, I have a few more exciting 2012 Team Lexis updates to share with you guys:

• I'll be performing along with "Girls N Harmony", Austyn Schroeder, Aniva Cheyenne, Justina Collette & more at the New Year's Eve Jam 2012 on 12-31-12 in New York City, one of my favorite places to be! I'm looking forward to it and I know it will be a great way to end such an awesome year with you all! 
• While at the New Year's Eve Jam I will be performing my BRAND NEW single "Perfectly Imperfect" for the very first time! So make sure you tune in live to watch the New Year's Eve Jam 2012 live from NYC or if you are in the NYC area, come out & rock out with me! ;)

And my last big update is the announcement of my upcoming album PERFECTLY IMPERFECT! I have been working super hard this whole year on this album & have been having the hardest time ever trying to keep it a secret from you guys! But you guys will not have to wait for much longer, I promise!

Be on the lookout for my album PERFECTLY IMPERFECT, IN STORES FEBRUARY 2013! An official release date will be available soon!

Updates, Touring & MORE!

Hello, my loves! Firstly let me say that your support thus far in 2012 has been absolutely amazing and I adore you all! From supporting my album, to the Love Life & Lexis 2 Tour, you guys are the best! Without you, I could not be living out my absolute dream every single day, so THANK YOU! I also want to thank you guys so much for being super patient with me! I have not had a chance to really catch my breath, let alone blog, so please forgive me! But this blog is still active & yes, run by ME so feel free to keep checking back! You can also follow me on Twitter where I post updates & tweet a lot more often. So follow me @LexisRayyy!

NOW, onto the updates! So what's new with me, you ask?! Well, on 3/12/12, my album: Love Life & Lexis Vol.2 was released and since then it's received awesome feedback! Just like with all of my albums, I really pour my heart and emotions out on each and every song. As an artist, it is an indescribably amazing feeling to know you all not only feel me, but vibe with me & can connect with my emotions. After that, I began preparing for my second tour, Love Life & Lexis 2 with rehearsals, traveling, and tons of practicing! On April 26, 2012 we opened up in Los Angeles, CA! I rocked out with an amazing crowd and got to share the stage with my lovely and amazingly talented friends / labelmates, Austyn Schroeder, Megan Racquel, Bethanny Chambers & Justina Collette! Those girls ROCK! Seriously! Nothing is more fun that not only touring but getting to travel & share the stage with your friends! We toured from April 26 to May 30, 2012. We are currently taking a BREAK as our manager told us to be sure to enjoy our youth & our summer! So right now we are currently enjoying our Summer break for a bit, and then we will be resuming the tour 4TH OF JULY in Chicago, IL! So excited! I LOVE CHICAGO!!

There will also be a change in schedule for the second half of the tour. My girl Bethanny Chambers is going to be taking some time to work on her first ever MOVIE ROLE! I'm so proud of her & excited for her! In addition, we will be adding a new face to the Love Life & Lexis tour. An amazing R&B singer & newbie on the scene by the name of Kioko! She has a beautiful voice & is releasing her first ever album in August so make sure you guys support & show her love!

UPDATE TIME!

Heyyyyy again everyone! Okay so I know I have been slipping with the blog entries but I have been super busy! (Not that that should be a surprise.. LOL) But yes, I have been busy! Right after my Say No 2 Bullying School Tour ended (which was an amazing success thanks to all of you!), I started working so very hard on my upcoming album! So far, I've released a couple of songs from it: All The Time, & Another Silly Girl in Love featuring my labelmate & bestie, Austyn Schroeder! So I am very excited about all of that!

Also, we officially have a RELEASE DATE for my album: March 12, 2012! So get ready for Love, Life & Lexis Volume 2! I cannot believe I am getting ready to release my third album already! This has been one crazy journey but I love it, I would not trade it for anything & I am so glad you guys are riding with me! Thanks so much for all of your support Team Lexis! You guys are the best!

And a last update, I found out that myself, along with Megan Racquel, Justina Colette, Austyn Schroder & Bethanny are ALL going to get the opportunity to tour together this APRIL! We don't have any dates to give you guys yet, and it may be pushed back to a summer tour due to all of our schedules, but the tour will definitely be happening in 2012 so stay tuned!

#SayNo2Bullying Pledge

I, (insert name here), pledge not only not to bully anyone, but to be an active change in my school and community by reporting any bullying that I see or notice around me. Bullying is not only negative emotionally but mentally as well. I understand that I must be the change I want to see in my school, my community, and the world around me. I will be the change and say no to bullying this school year and beyond. Together, we can make a difference and by standing up and saying NO to bullying this year, I am helping to make that difference.

#SayNo2Bullying!

Hey guys, it's me again :) I know I haven't blogged in a while but I have SO MUCH good news I can't wait to share and so much coming up that I hope you guys will love! But in the meantime, one thing I'm really excited about and passionate about is the #SayNo2Bullying campaign I'm working on. I've never been bullied thankfully but even when I was younger, I was never one to just sit by and watch it happen. So I am asking you all to join me Team Lexis and make the pledge to #SayNo2Bullying this year! Since it's Back to School time, I'm going to be travelling around to different schools across the US to talk about this, and I'm also going on a school concert promotional tour starting at the end of this month and going until September / October to promote this #SayNo2Bullying campaign! As soon as I know more about the schools I'll be visiting & performing at and the dates, I'll be sure to post the info right here on my OFFICIAL BLOG :) So please keep checking back for everything Lexis Ray! And as you guys go back to school this year, please #SAYNO2BULLYING! Not just in your schools but in your communities too! You guys can make a difference, and we can all do it together :) Let's make a change and #SAYNO2BULLYING!

4th of July & CALIIII BABY :)

Hey ! I hope you guys are enjoying your Summer :) I had a great 4th of July & got to spend it with my family :) I love them so much! Now I'm resting up because I have a 5am flight tomorrow headed out to California for some promotion, lotssss of Sun ;), more promotion & work stuff. But I LOVE MY JOB so it's never really work :) I'm just excited about getting in the studio  & doing what I love most - making music! Talk to you guys soon ! xoxoxo
